Is water wet?

backowdawn

I know that an item coming out of water is considered as wet. But is water itself wet?

.

That's a head scratcher. I'm gonna say yes since water can't be dry.

nah

No, water isn't wet. The wetness isn't a property inherent to water, but it's the result of something ELSE being submerged into it.

Hmm. .....

Lol.. I have never thought of that. It's a good question. I don't believe water is wet as wet is a condition of having a liquid upon some other item.
Lettuce for instance is 92% water but when it's growing out in the sun on a hot sunny day we wouldn't consider it to be wet, but when it rains we say the lettuce is wet. So, I would so no, water is not wet.

L'humidité c'est de l'eau!!!!

C'est l'eau évaporée ou recondensée en avant de gouttelette qu'on appelle humidité.
