American Crew Fiber smelled great but didnt hold my hair well enough.

I received American Crew Fiber to try for free in response for an honest review.

I am in my mid 30's and have thick black south asian hair. I usually style my hair with products from sephora or my hair salon but i was super excited to try American Crew because of how great it smells and well...elvis.

I found that the hold was not strong enough to last the entire day and that the product left white build-up. When you have black hair build is a big no-no so i have to give this one a pass.

I would definitely recommend this product if you have lighter hair and require a less strong hold.

Great hold for fine, short hair. Doesn't leave my hair shiny like some gels and lasts all day. A little goes a long way. Happy to have gotten a free sample from ChickAdvisor. I would purchase again and would recommend for hair similar to mine, but might not work as well for thicker or longer hair.

This product had great hold, but kept my hair soft and healthy looking. You have the work the product a bit before applying, as it is a bit hard, but it applies easy and covers well.

I came back from my vacation and was pleasantly surprised to find this waiting for me.
The smell of the product was mild and not strong I found it to be just right.
The product itself was not too sticky and I used it on towel dry hair, I preferred it this way rather then using it on dry hair. It was easy to apply and gave a good hold which lasted all day. It gave my hair a matte finish rather then a shiny finish which I liked. This product is definitely suited for shorter hair, as I do not think it would do a good job holding longer hair.
Overall it met my expectations and I will definitely be purchasing this again. I received a full size product to try for free.
I was also sent a bonus small 3 in 1 tea tree body wash and shampoo. I liked the cooling effect of using it as a shampoo.

Great product definitely would recommend to my friends and family. Made styling my hair easy and not stiff. I even think its great for kids my son like's to use it to create his own stylish dos

Le premier mot qui me vient à l'esprit. La texture est agréable et s'applique bien. Toutefois, le parfum est...surprenant. C'est le premier commentaire que mon copain m'a dit en découvrant le produit. Il n'a pas du tout apprécié l'odeur et je dois dire qu'il n'a pas tort ce n'est pas dans notre palette odorante. C'est dur à décrire entre un mélange boisé et produit ménager. Il a quand même utilisé le produit quelques fois puisque ce dernier donne un très beau résultat et une bonne tenue. C'est l'essentiel. American CREW Fiber is a different consistency than I am used to using. I normally use a gel type, so this took a little getting used to as far as how to apply it.
I do like it and will continue to use it, the scent is nice (so I am told), and it does hold well, more than I thought it would, still getting used to the consistency but I will likely purchase the product after this is gone.
It held up for my entire 8 hour shift at work without any issues at all.

This product packaging is very neat and good looking. The scent of this product is very nice as well but not too overwhelming. I dont like gel in my hair but I like using this type of product. My 2 friends loved this product and put it in their hair when I showed them what I got from XYStuff. It got so bad that my friends would come over and start using it without permission but its all good :)!!

J'ai fait essayer le AMERICAN CREW Fiber à quatre personnes chez moi avec différente texture des cheveux fins, frisés, droits et mous et tous ont adoré le produit, ils ont tous une coupe différente, ils l'ont trouvé facile à manipuler , elle reste efficace toute la journée, même après avoir fait du sport, reste pas de résidu, n'est pas collante et bonne odeur .... À Essayer

Très facile d'emploie. J'ai les cheveux mi-long (environ 6 pouces) et avec la bonne quantité de produit, j'étais en mesure de bien placé mes cheveux sans y passer trop de temps. La tenue du produit utilisé seul ne me permettais pas de passer ma journée coiffé. Je devais utilisé du "spray net" Je vais traîner ce produit qu'on m'a donné en #cadeau dans mon sac de sport car il sera un excellent dépanneur aux douche non prévu et aux averses soudaines
