So-So

This was used both on dry and wet hair. It did an alright job when dry; however, it did not hold up as well as competitors when applied to wet hair. It just ended up flopping. I probably would buy this on sale but not otherwise

Prefer the paste

It is alright, the smell is amazing the hold is good, my boyfriend like it but personally preferred the paste as it's thicker so easier to place.
I'm happy we tried it as I never know what to pick for my man, now I know his preference for paste and only good comments about the axe paste

Seems Good

My hair is getting too long because I'm overdue for a haircut due to covid, so I couldn't get parts to stick up like I'd wanted, but "medium hold" seems accurate. I liked the smell, it's kind of fresh and clean. I liked that it doesn't leave my hands feeling sticky. It gave some definition to my somewhat curly hair without looking like I had anything in it.

This free sample was for my son and he loves it! This gel is great because it is matte, so it doesn't give that super shine like most gels do. It washes off hands and out of hair easily with soap or shampoo. It is super light weight, so you don't feel weighed down when you have it in your hair and it looks great! It also smells awesome which is fantastic! This is definitely a go to for a matte look.

Gel that hold without the sticky feeling

Finaly a gel that hold without the sticky feeling or the famous "wetlook". The matte effect make the hair look like they are freshly done in a barber shop!!! And it smell good. Will definetly buy it again!

Smells amazing

I received this product free to test and it smells so good! I’m a big fan of axe products and it’s nice to see hair gel that works so well added to their line. I love how well it holds up all day!

Surprisingly great gel!

I #gotitfree to try through XY Stuff. My colleagues were very eager to try this product and three of them tried to style their hair with it. They all loved the smell and also the flexibility in style that this gel allowed for, all three would recommend!

Got to try this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

Although the value and smell of the product are great, I didn’t like the texture as much as the paste version.

That said, I would still recommend for others who prefer the gel texture given the value and smell.

Good hold with shorter hair

I have decently short hair but I still like to spike it when going out. This stuff worked out pretty well to be quite honest and had a good smell to it too that was not overwhelming. I'd recommend giving it a go!
