Not great for the face but best for the body

It caused my face to have bumps due to my face being sensitive to salicylic acid. I ended up using it on my body as a general moisturizer and it works fine when it comes to dry spots

effective at managing KP bumps

I picked up the Cerave Canada Renewing SA Cream a while back when trying to find products to manage my KP!

This cream has a balm-like texture, as opposed to being thick, whipped like the regular Cerave moisturizer. I found it pretty effective with keeping the KP bumps at bay and skin hydrated! prefer using this cream as opposed to the body scrubs that offer more of a temporary solution.

Moisturizing and thick

I have bumpy skin on my arms and this cream clears that up. I also use it on my face because I noticed my skin isn't turning over as quickly anymore. Since this cream has salicylic acid in it, it helps with cell turnover. It moisturizes well and lasts a long time. It's a bit expensive but lasts a long time.

Works amazing

If you have keratosis pilaris this is a must have! This was recommended by my son's dermatologist. Both of us have keratosis pilaris (chicken skin as some might say) on the backs of our arms. Daily use for a week and I don't think I've had smoother arms in my entire life. So glad to find a product to help my son at a young age so he doesn't have to struggle with this like I did. It is thick but I find it spreads best when you apply it right after a shower. If you're struggling with rough skin get it!!

Worked like a charm!

I was desperately looking for a cream or lotion that I wouldn't have to keep reapplying during winter season and this came highly recommended by my daughter's doctor. It worked wonders on my me, even on my toddler's sensitive skin. A bit pricey when compared with other brands but truly worth it.

If you've got dry hands, this is the stuff

I suffer from severe dry hands during the cold winters. This cream works wonders. Its thick enough to stay on, but doesn't feel too slimy. I highly recommend the full line of CeraVe products.

New must have!

I have very sensitive skin overall, as well as acne prone skin. When I turned 15, my hormones were all out of whack and my face broke out like crazy and I am not exaggerating. It was very depressing. I would be embarrassed most days to leave the house because my face was full of break out and extremely red. My acne really drove my self esteem down. When I was in my early 20s, my face finally cleared and I was ecstatic!! Early 30s come around and my face is still clear (with the exception of hormonal break outs here and there). Got engaged, got a wedding backless wedding dress, but now I was getting bacne!! :( maybe from the stress of planning a wedding and what not, but in any case, I was NOT happy about this. No matter what body wash I changed to, or amount of toners I tried, the bacne was not getting any better. I expressed concern about this to one of my dearest friends and she introduced me to CERAVE RENEWING SA CREAM. I was very skeptical that this would make any difference as I've already tried what felt like every option available to me. TO MY SURPRISE, this cream worked so well on my back!!! it really cleared up a majority of the bumps and lightened my scars on my back!!!! Although the bumps and scars weren't completely gone 100%, it was much better on the wedding day that I didn't give it a second thought on my big day. THANK YOU so much for this amazing cream! Now, instead of my face (thank goodness), my hormonal breakouts are on my back, so I continue to have this cream in my beauty collection!

The best for KP!

Discovered this cream when my usual bodycream with glycolic acid became discontinued.
I was concerned it might be a little too rich but a little bit goes a long way and although I'm not a big fan of "pots", this has done wonders for my skin, no more bumps, fantastic hydration and subtle scent - I'm sold!

No more dry skin!

This cream has been a lifesaver. I had my every day lotion but I was still finding my skin was dry and dehydrated in spots. Once I started using this I have not suffered with dry skin anymore. This stuff truly works!

This is meant for extra dry skin but I purchased it for it's ingredients, as they are very nice. Salicylic Acid and Lactic Acid are both hydroxy acids, Salicylic being a Beta Hydroxy Acid and Lactic Acid being a Alpha Hydroxy Acid. These help to exfoliate and slough off dead skin cells which can improve the texture of your skin as well as soften it. Do not over exfoliate. It also contains Niacinamide which MAY improve the appearance of dark spots and large pores. It also contains Vitamin D which prevents fine lines from forming. It's last major ingredient is Hyaluronic Acid, which softens the skin.
