Rather disappointing

I use a lot of Colgate products so was excited to try this one, needless to say, I was rather disappointed. I used the entire tube in hopes that it would get better but it didn’t. I did not have a clean feel after brushing and I did not notice any whitening effect either.

Messy with electric toothbrush

Although I enjoyed the flavour of the charcoal toothpaste I found the texture to be too smooth.
It feels like a mix between gel and paste and this consistency made using this product with an electric toothbrush VERY messy. I Sansone minor whitening from what I could tell but the mess the toothpaste made means I would not purchase. I'm sure it would be better with a manual brush. Maybe if it were a little thicker I would try again. I would have added a picture of the toothbrushbase after 1 use of the paste and replacing what seemed to be a rinsed brush down. I won't make you look at a picture of my gray splattered sink. Was disappointed as it wasa product I was very interested in.

Clean ...

I've come across a lot of charcoal infused products, but using this was a different experience. It gave me the tingly feeling that you would want to get from your toothpaste, and I'm pleased with the difference in the whiteness of my teeth. I would recommend this as a good start into the charcoal type brands of hygiene products, and a good toothpaste for whitening!

Works just fine

i received this from Chickadvisor for review. I like it ok, it does what its supposed to do. Im just not a huge fan of charcoal products for teeth as I find that they are more hype than they are worth.

Does what it's supposed to do!

I received the Colgate Total Advanced Charcoal Toothpaste for free in exchange of my honest review. I’ve been using this charcoal toothpaste for a couple of weeks now and this toothpaste does what it is supposed to do. My teeth feel clean, and my mouth is fresher. The texture doesn’t have a chalky feeling. The taste is mild and fresh. The color grey and the texture can do a little mess in the sink.

The colour is a little offputting

I did like that the taste of mint was subdued compared to regular toothpastes I have used in the past. It cleans well and works like other toothpaste. The gray colour is a little off putting although it becomes a grey green colour once you start brushing. Not sure what the benefits of charcoal are but if the instructions mention to call poison control if swallowed then that makes me a little uneasy to continue using it. Other toothpaste tubes only indicate not to swallow it.

All in one

I received this product to test and was very impressed by the unusual gray/silver color of the paste: cool!. This toothpaste makes my teeth feel really clean, but after a few days of use, my teeth started to feel sensitive, a sensation that I am not use to. So I would recommend it, but not to people with sensitive teeth!

Colgate Charcoal Toothpaste

It wasn't my favorite product, left my mouth feeling dry. I would recommend it to others as I have had this happen before with other tooth paste brands.
