I was chosen to be do this Product Review for this toothpaste. I wasn't impressed overall with this product. I found the taste to be mild and the freshness didn't last. The product claimed to be a breath freshener but I have other whitening toothpastes that did a better job. I found the taste to be on the bland side, whereas I like a sharp minty tasting toothpaste that stays in my mouth for minutes later. To me, this one just felt like an ordinary toothpaste. The toothpaste did clean my teeth and it seemed to prevent plaque and food from sticking to them until it was time to brush again, but as an all in one toothpaste it was a fail. I wouldn't buy this toothpaste again unless it was on sale and cheaper then my current favourite.

I was very disappointed with this toothpaste. It barely foamed, my mouth was not left feeling very fresh.

I was chosen to be do this Product Review for this toothpaste. I wasn't overally impressed with this product. To me, it just felt like an ordinary toothpaste. Like other reviewers, I didn't find the taste all that great. I've had stronger tasting toothpastes in the past. Taste is important to me...it makes me feel like my mouth/breath is fresh, and this one didn't leave that impression. I also didn't find that it cleaned my teeth any better than any other Crest toothpaste. Overall, I wouldn't buy this product unless it was on sale compared to other toothpastes.

I tried this toothpaste as part of the Chickreview club and liked it, but only just. It has a very mild flavour and unlike many others with the same claims it doesn't feel gritty in my mouth. Doesn't foam up or amount to much when brushing, but it doesn't leave a film either. I haven't noticed any whitening improvement in my teeth over the past five days of using it. Maybe it takes longer. I would recommend it although I don't think it is any more exciting than other toothpastes I've used. Would I switch, well, no, but it was nice to try.

This product seemed to cover almost all the bases for what it claims to do. The one thing that I'm not finding to be true is that of whitening. I've only been using it for a week, but stains that have accumulated on my teeth don't seem to be going away, maybe once I've been using it for a little longer it'll break down.

Another thing that bothered me about this toothpaste that I have yet to find in another was that it didn't seem to foam. When I brushed my teeth, I found that the paste while easily covered my teeth, there didn't seem to be much to spit out afterwards, which made me wonder what it did and where it went.

I'm on the fence about whether or not I would recommend this to a friend. I don't think this is a bad product, but I'm not wowed by it either.

I received this thanks to the Product Review Club.
I'm a little picky about my toothpastes, as I want to have that fresh breath feeling after brushing. I usually use a toothpaste with baking powder, so this was a bit of a change. I expected a big blast of peppermint, as is usually the case with peppermint things, but I barely noticed any peppermint in this toothpaste. This could be a plus or a minus, depending on the person. In particular, I found that this toothpaste did not give very long lasting fresh breath. However, it did do a pretty good job of removing plaque. I didn't see much whitening, but it may have been minimal enough for it to remain unseen.

I probably won't be switching to this toothpaste after trying it. And I probably wouldn't be recommending it to friends and family if I wouldn't be using it again myself.

I got a chance to try the Crest Pro-Health ProFresh Toothpaste as part of the Product Review Club. I have also tried other flavor samples in the line. I enjoyed the flavor and the way it made my mouth feel. It did its job but I did not see any huge differences in others I've used. I'll continue to use it and would buy again in the future if the price was alright but it is not necessarily my new go to paste.

Note that this item was provided to this tester at no cost through the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.

NOTE: the descriptions used in this review may be disturbing to some readers; reader discretion is advised.

Crest Pro-Health ProFresh Toothpaste makes many claims whose effectiveness can only be truly confirmed through before-and-after visits to a dental practitioner (such as 'fights cavities, fights plaque, fights gingivitis, fights tartar, and whitens teeth (by removing surface stains)). After using the product exclusively for a week, it would seem that there is no evidence that would prove to be contrary to these claims, and therefore, I am going to claim that the toothpaste functioned as intended in all of these respects.

There remains two claims that I can speak on. The first is the claim that Crest Pro-Health ProFresh Toothpaste 'builds increasing protection against painful sensitivity.' I myself have mild to moderate tooth sensitivity, and throughout the week, I have not noticed a difference between the beginning of the test cycle and the end of the test cycle. Extremely hot and extremely cold foods still bother my teeth, and unless this buildup of 'increasing protection against painful sensitivity' takes multiple weeks to develop, I am not convinced that this toothpaste would function any better or at the same level as a toothpaste intended primarily to combat tooth sensitivity.

Of the remaining claim 'freshens breath', I can say that the toothpaste itself (with every opening of the tube) has a bacteria-like odour to it (not terribly inviting). Furthermore, use of the toothpaste leaves a tart acidic taste in one's mouth, similar to the tart acidic taste that is created after one vomits. It should be noted that both the odour and taste are faint and therefore still bearable, however, I fail to see how either would contribute to fresh breath.

Physically, the tube's flip-cap is brilliant, clicking open and shut with a certainty that leads to believe that the cap is on tight. Furthermore, the cap seems to reduce toothpaste buildup around the tube's opening and the wide, flat dimensions of the cap surface allows the toothpaste tube to stand upright on this cap.

The toothpaste product itself is a light aqua-blue colour with dark-blue specks contained within. It takes more toothpaste than most other products in order to build up a workable lather in one's mouth when brushing, and the toothpaste itself (unused portions) seems to leave a runny discolouration on the tube's opening, complete with an aqua-blue tint speckled with the aforementioned dark-blue specks.

Given that this toothpaste is priced higher than entry-level toothpastes on the market, I would only recommend it when on sale or when offered on promotion. Sadly, in most cases we have to take the manufacturer's word in substantiating their benefit claims. With this in mind, Crest Pro-Health ProFresh Toothpaste boasts an impressive list of benefit claims, yet not enough to convince me to switch from my regular Colgate Total Toothpaste.

I have recently been using the Crest Pro-Health ProFresh Toothpaste as part of my dental routine. I found with this toothpaste that my teeth did feel very clean but I don't feel the freshness of my breath lasted any longer than when using a different toothpaste/mouthwash combo.

While brushing your teeth with this the toothpaste has very minimal foaming. That probably doesn't matter to many people, but personally I like foaming toothpastes! The flavour of the toothpaste isn't too bad but I don't think it's anything awesome either.

The claim is that this toothpaste also whitens! I use the Crest line of whitening products regularly and they are my favourite of all toothpastes and keep my teeth pretty white. That being said I sometimes feel that when I switch to another toothpaste it doesn't always keep up the whiteness of my teeth whereas this toothpaste did.

Overall, I would say this toothpaste is alright, it did make my mouth and teeth feel clean and fresh although maybe not for hours and it did keep up with how white my teeth were. However, I was neutral about the taste and not crazy for the lack of foaming. Would I recommend it? Yes but it wouldn't be my first recommendation.

I really really did not like this. The taste was too chemically, not enough mint and it didn't freshen my breath very well. The cleaning power was average, but there was no whitening, and it didn't help with my sensitivity.
