So here's the thing- the toothpaste promises to fight tartar, plaque buildup, cavities and gingivitis. Well, I can't really see how you know that this happening! I brush my teeth the average 2 times a day, and I couldn't see an improvement (and I do get the plaque buildup) - it didn't get rid of what was there, but whether it helped prevent more from starting, well I just couldn't tell!
Ideally I think the best time to start a new toothpaste that is going to promise all of these things, is right after a visit to the dentist - than you'll know for sure that it is working!

As a toothpaste itself though, that taste of it was pretty good! And it did keep your mouth tasting minty fresh for the morning at least. But overall I couldn't see how it was any better or more effective than a regular non pro-health toothpaste, and it is more expensive than a regular one as well. I would definitely have to give it more time to see if it was really helping.

I usually use a sensitive toothpaste and find that this brand compares the same as others

Have only been using this tooth paste for a couple days but I'm not really fond of it. Don't really like the taste. And I feel like I have I rinse my mouth after using it. Leaves a film.

I was excited to try Crest Pro-Health ProFresh toothpaste, but I was disappointed. It didn't really foam and I has the impression that I didn't brush my teeth. I had to use a lot of it. The other thing I didn't like was the taste. It almost tasted salty. It cleaned my teeth ok, but I wouldn't use it again.

I also received this as part of the product review club. It's about average in my opinion. I've been using Crest Pro Health toothpastes for a while now so I have certain expectations, you know?

This one was ok, but I was a little disappointed at the lack of "grit" it had. Past tubes had this grit like stuff that really scrubbed your teeth and made it feel like you were just at the dentist. This one didn't do that, and didn't have a really amazing or long-lasting flavour for me.

Overall not a bad toothpaste, but nothing to blow your mind, either.

To be honest I thought most toothpastes were pretty much the same. That said, after nearly a week of using this one (which I was given to review through ChickAdvisor's Review Program) I was wrong. I'm sorry to say but I really did not like this one and wouldn't recommend to a friend. Here's why:

First impression - It looks on the outside like any of the brand name toothpastes. The nice square, short box that usually comes with the ones with a good click cap. It has that - that I love as my significant other regularly scolds me for leaving the cap off...it's much harder to do that when attached (although still possible) ;) But that's about where my love for this product stopped.

On the brush, all looked good still. But as soon as I put it near my face, my eyes watered. Then I put it in my mouth and I almost spit it back out. I got more accustomed to the smell and taste as the week went on but I still am not a fan. It's very strong smelling and tasting - and if I gave a really good brush, it even burned after use.

There was no nice foamy lather either, which I like in a toothpaste. I find if there is a lather I feel like I'm getting a better clean. With this, no lather at all and around 30s of brushing I didn't even know if there was any paste left and the brush didn't move well anymore.

As for fresh breath, I really didn't notice any difference from my usual toothpaste (which is a whitening one with no specific calm to remarkably fresher breath).

Hate to say it, but this one missed the boat for me and I've actually switched back to my normal toothpaste. That said, check out my other reviews of the Crest Pro-Health line - the brush = holy wow, like being at the dentist, the wash = no alcohol! (I think they put it in the paste ;))

I found this toothpaste does work but it is way to strong of a taste for me personally.

I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor Review club...and as a Brand Loyal Colgate user, I'm still not impressed.

The taste is minty, but also off-putting - almost sour tasting. It also doesn't foam/lather up as much as I would like it to. However, in combination with the CRest Pro-Health mouthwash and tooth brush, my teeth feel cleaner, longer.

While not for me, its still a good toothpaste. I haven't noticed any increases sensitivity (which can sometimes happen for me) - so I would definitely recommend it for those who are just looking for an all around decent toothpaste.

I found this toothpaste to be effective. I liked the taste but didn't like the gritty feeling.

I was excited to use this toothpaste because of the claims made but personally I was a little disappointed because it did not feel as clean and fresh as I thought it would. Other toothpastes give me a much more fresh and clean feeling but this one made me feel like I was left with a film over my teeth. Perhaps this is just my preference but I like when a toothpaste foams up a bit, but this one just did not seem to do that for me. Overall, It depends on your own sensitivity to the paste and personal preference on freshness so I would still recommend it but with keeping those things in mind.
