Good for humid days

I liked this bar but for the time of year, the charcoal is far too drying. In summer I will use it more but for now I won't.
If you live in a humid area you will like this more but I live on an island on the ocean which is very dry from the sea salt.
It felt and smelt nice though.

Its bar soap.

I got to try the charcoal dove soap for men from XYStuff for free, and while the scent was not unpleasant, it was just bar soap. But grey. It still made lots of bubbles and lathered up really nice, it still washed on and rinsed off with no effort involved and it still left an oily film on my face and body as all bar soaps do. Unfortionatly dove has not made bar soaps enjoyable yet.

Great product to try

I received this for free to try from XYStuff. I'm not normally a fan of soap, and usually prefers body wash instead. I like that this bar is suitable for body and face, and it is gentle for my sensitive skin. I'm not sure if this is something I would try again, but I'm glad I had the chance to try it out and compare it with my Dove body wash.

OK but had better

We found that this product had little to no scent and it was very hard to work up any sort of lather making it more difficult to feel like you had managed to clean yourself. There were very few exfoliating grains in the soap, felt like there should have been more if exfoliation was part of the purpose of using this product.

Nice soap

My man tried this soap on his face. He wasn’t used to using male specific products so this was new to him but he did like it. It got his face clean and didn’t irritate his skin so this was a winner.

Nothing bad but nothing great

I loved the idea of this soap especially the moisturizer aspect. The smell was great, and it cleaned just like any other soap would. I didn’t find that I noticed a difference with the moisturizer aspect. All in all it’s a great bar of soap but I didn’t notice anything extra about it. #gotitfree

Didn't like this soap

I have always used bar soap to wash my my face. My girlfriend raves about charcoal cleansers so I thought this would be good. I stopped using it after a few days because I just didn't feel that it really cleansed my face as well as my regular soap.

dove body + face bar

My brother recently tested this product said it was a good product but not something he would use on a daily basis. Said the feeling that the bar left his skin wasn't something he liked.

Not a fan

Disliked the scent. The bar felt chalky. Dried out skin. Advertised as a body & face bar but would not use this again on the face due to the lack of moisture.
