Good meal replacement for someone on the go

I really enjoyed the product. It was quite tasty, although perhaps a little sweet. I prefer savory foods, so I thought it tasted more like dessert than a meal replacement. I'm not an extremely active person using protein post-workout or anything like that, but I am quite busy and often find myself without the time to get or make a meal (usually lunch). This bar provided enough sustenance to allow me to go on with my day and not feel like I had missed a meal.

Great Taste!

I received my Powerbar free of charge from Chick Advisor recently, and really enjoyed the taste of them all. My favorite flavor is the Almond, sea salt, and dark chocolate bar. It's a great mix of sweet, and salty, with a nice crunch from the almonds.
The only thing negative that can be said, is the texture is quite chewy, and made my jaw a bit sore by the time I had completely consumed the product.

Great snack between meals definite buy again

The first thing I love about this bar are the macros. I eat keto and although the bars have carbs the bars are high in fiber too which means healthy. I loved the little bit of salt with the chocolate. It was just prefect. Also liked the crunch factor.

yummy this bar is delicious I didn't think I would like it the vegan status made me hesitate I am a meat lover and the thought makes me cringe but I loved it after I tried it filling enough to hold my appetite until the next meal gAve. me a little boost of energy definitely will buy these again

I was sent 2 of the Powerbar Plant Protein Almond, Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate by Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest review.

This flavour just didn't cut it for me. It seemed way too salty and not enough chocolate pieces. As with the other flavours of this bar I reviewed, it was very hard to chew to the point that it hurt my teeth.

I definitely won't be purchasing these bars in future unless they are reformulated to be chewier.

Definitely worth the try

I received this protein bar to try in exchange for my review.

I found this bar to have a harder/chunkier consistency which surprised me as it was in my car on a hot day. On the plus side, the chocolate held up very well and had only melted a little onto the wrapper.
The flavour is good, the balance of sweet and salty was right on target, but I found the bar to be on the dry side overall and needed a beverage to wash it down.
Would I buy again? Compared to the other flavours probably not, but compared to other brands then yes I would.

POWERBAR PLANT PROTEIN ALMOND, SEA SALT AND DARK CHOCOLATE

This is a delicious bar. I was really happy to see it is nothing like other peanut-based protein bars I've had that were very mealy. The 11 g of protein, for the most part, comes from pea protein. It doesn't taste at all like peas and I'm glad that it is all natural and vegetable protein, but not soy.

These bars are great if you're active but if you're inactive mainly at your desk, like me, this has 280 calories (120 calories from fat) and is something to think about. Some people won't like that it has cane sugar (8 g) but I don't mind that--and am just glad it doesn't use corn syrup. There are no artificial colors or sweeteners. It has 14g fat (3.5g saturated), 0 cholesterol, 150 mg of sodium (only 6% ADR) 22g of carbohydrate which includes nearly 28% of the ADR of dietary fiber. No soy, no gluten.

If you can manage the calories, this is a really good snack bar (even half with a cup of coffee is very satisfying).

Sweet and Salty and packed with protein

I received a sample of this powerbar as part of a ChickAdvisor panel. The bars themselves are packaged so you can see the texture of the bars - nuts, chocolate and all. The bars pack in quite a bit of flavor and they are great. Sweet and salty! I hope these aren’t as pricey as other bars as I’d love to get more of them in the future.

Great snack on the go

Love this new plant based protein bar. Tastes much more like a granola bar, or even a chocolate bar, and it contains a respectable amount of protein with lower sugar than other brands. Perfect for bridging the gap between meals or as energy on the go
