Chocolate and Nuts?!

I received PowerBar Plant Protein Almond, Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate from XYSTUFF complimentary for testing purposes.

I enjoyed these Plant Protein bars. They are crunchy and have a nice texture to them. They are not overly sweet and no chalky taste. Chocolate and nuts are a nice treat for a pre or post workout. Left me feeling fuller than other Protein Bars.

Sweet and salty goodness!

I received this snack bar to try for free and I was pretty happy about it. Being a student and neglecting my lunches sometimes, this powerbar was the perfect combination of a sweet and salty snack to pack during my school days. It is full of protein to help me for long days and gives me energy. I just wish there was real dark chocolate pieces in the bar instead of only a flavour, but overall I love it and will probably buy some more!

C'est une barre qui donne vraiment de l'énergie

La barre PowerBar Plant Protein Bar in Almond, Sea Salt & Dark Chocolate est une barre de protéine très utile surtout si pour les gens actifs. Ça donne de l'énergie, ça dépanne quand on a un coup de barre. c'est vraiment parfait pour les petites fringales. J'ai aimé le fait qu'elle ne soit pas trop sucrée.

Great Taste and Great Textue

I really like the overall taste of the powerboat plant protein almond and sea salt dark chocolate bar. It is very good and don't have an after taste like other brands of protein bars. I like that it is very textured and has lots of crunchy ingredients. I don't usually buy protein bars because they usually don't like the taste, but this is very good and as a lot of protein in it. The sugar content is a little high for my personal preference, so I wouldn't want to have anymore than one in a day. Overall I really liked it and may buy it again.

Crunchy & Delicious

Thank you so much Chickadvisor for giving me the opportunity to #gotitfree review this! This flavour was by far my favourite. Very crunchy! I defiantly can taste the plant based ingredients. I wish though this bar had more sweetness to it, so I could really tell the sweet & salty flavours. I like the packaging of this product, it is really easy to tear open. What I really appreciate about this protein bar compared to others is that you are able to see the product (that clear part) before opening up the package, I don't see protein bars designed this way. Really nice snack and mess free. I will defiantly recommend this one and purchase it at my local grocery store.

Great combo of flavors

I adore dark chocolate with just about anything but love that the combo is almonds with dark chocolate and salted caramel. The variety of flavors and textures was great.
But...the sweetness left a bit of after taste. I am not a big fan of the crazy amounts of sugar used (even if I do appreciate cane sugar being used).
I would buy it again for the nutrition but not necessarily for the taste.
The amount of protein was packing which is great for my post-gym workout snacks and this was a much appreciated boost of nutrition.

healthy snack

These are great bars that I used when I was on the go, running late for breakfast or when I needed an afternoon pick me up. They are quite sweet and have a bit of the bitter protein after taste that comes with protein bars.

The 10-11g of protein is about half of some other protein bars but that is also reflected in the much lower price. For example, Quest protein bars are about $10 more for a box of 12.

The plant based nature of the protein is great for those who have a dairy sensitivity, and love that there are no artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners.

This flavor was my preferred of the two bars, but I enjoyed both of them.

Loved it!

I received both this bar and the cashew bar through the PRC. They both tasted amazing, but I'd give a slight edge to this flavour. Perfect to grab on the go, this has been my breakfast for the last few days. Gives me a good amount of energy, and it's the only protein bar I've ever had that actually tastes good! I'll definitely be picking up more on my next grocery run.

great snack

I received POWERBAR PLANT PROTEIN ALMOND, SEA SALT AND DARK CHOCOLAT throught the XY Stuff Club for my honest feedback.

The bar is chewy and I like the texture very much. The chocolate is not over the top so I fee like I'm eating a granola bar and not a chocolate bar with is a good thing.

It is very sweet and for a plant base bar the macros on this bar is pretty good. This is a good alternative to regular protein bars, Sometimes I find them to be too heavy and chalky but this is more like a granola bar but packed in protein.

i had them when I was on the road and in between meals for a healthy snack.

I don't find them to be too expensive. They are on par with competitors.
