If you like your tea strong, this is NOT for you
Red Rose tea may be other peoples Favorite but it wasnt mine or my families cup of tea. I love my Indian Chai so when i boiled the tea bags in pot of water it exploded everytime. The taste wasnt that great either. I had to use double the amount of product and still wasnt a good taste.
Not my cup of tea!
I am a tea Lover and drink it all day long! This though, is not my cup of tea at all! I find it leaves a slimy film on the top layer of my tea, gross. The taste is ok, but nothing like other bold, smooth teas that I have drank!
You get what you pay for
This is not my first choice in tea. It doesn't have a pleasant taste or aroma. The tea is of mediocre quality. I feel you have to add a lot of milk and sweetener to make it drinkable.
Somehow I always end up with some in my house when I have guests and nobody turns their nose up at it so it must not be horrible, I am just a tea snob.
I have been drinking Red Rose tea for years and even take it with me when I travel. The last box I purchased about a week ago I noticed the tea is weaker and has no flavour. I am convinced either less tea or an inferior tea or both is now being used. I'm sad.
I do not drink Red Rose orange pekoe tea as much as I used to. Now that there is such a selection of tea and tea blends going back to plain black tea is hard to do.
I prefer Tetley as you get better flavour. I can always only get 1 cup per tea bag with red rose. I know they say 2 cup but it never works.yes the price is goo but if you only get 1 cup per bag it's not a great deal
This tea bags can make a lot of cups of tea with the same level of strength and darkness. It is tasty and quick. Just add hot water and enjoy. It is a great thing to have an easy to make and pleasant to drink tea.
Our household were devoted Red Rose tea drinker, until they changed to keep cost down. Their cost may be down, but the consumer is still paying more. The tea bags have a habit of breaking. Stopped buying because I had as many as 10 out of 60 teabags break and some boxes even more. Finally just changed brands. The cost was to high for what I actually got.
I'm not a big fan of the red rose tea brand or the orange pekoe although I did give it a try it was average for tea. They probably would not buy it again although it's what most best tea places have
My grandma used to swear by this tea and drank it all the time. As I got older and discovered loose teas, I stopped buying Red Rose. It's a great tea to drink when I'm craving a little nostalgia but I find it a bit bitter.
