I like it, just not the smell. To strong. Other then that its very helpful.

Charcoal on your Deo

I let my husband try this variant to see how it will work on him as he sweat and stinks 😂 after a long day at work. According to him, the smell is weird.. smells like fresh charcoal but not like the ones on barbecue grill. He’s not a fan of the smell.

Clean and fresh

The deodorant is aluminum free, baking soda free, paraben, cruelty and fragrance free. They contain Hemp seed oil( although it is CBD and THC free) and a host of natural ingredients such as coconut oil, arrowroot powder, shea butter and jojoba seed oil among others. It is a vegan and cruelty free product. I really do love the fact that with this deodorant I am confident that the ingredients I am using on my body are good for my wellbeing.

The product has a very clean scent

The Charcoal and Magnesium version has a clean scent to it making an ideal unisex deodorant. It also kept me dry and smelling fresh even post workouts.

I found its application to be very gentle and moisturizing, yet great at suppressing odours. The addition of magnesium to the formula helped with the stickiness, which was a concern for me when I had reviewed this product in a different scent earlier.

Fresh and clean all day long

I loved this scent and product! Could easily work for any gender or preference. Scent is mild but wonderful, with a botanical, natural vibe. I found this deodorant went on nice and smooth, didn’t irritate my underarms, and was effective at preventing odour all day. I liked the nice smooth texture with no sticky wet feeling (which I find a lot of natural deodorants have).

Might switch from Native

I have used this brand before and my skin reacted badly to it so I stopped purchasing it and started purchasing Native. I like that Schmidts is available where I buy my groceries.

Fraîche toute la journée

Merci a ChickAdvisor pour les produits gratuits. Le déodorant Schmidt's charcoal est maintenant celui que j'achèterai dorénavant. Il me garde au sec toute la journée. J'adore l'odeur. Je le recommande à tout mes amis.

Difficult to apply

Unfortunately, this deodorant was super hard to apply. It says to hold it to the skin so the product can warm up for easier application. It did not work. It went on chunky and I would have to wipe it off entirely.

Nice unisex scent

I actually preferred this smell to the rose+blackpepper one. It wasn't overpowering. It was also quite gritty on the skin. It wasn't sticky and felt dry all day.

Very lovely scent and works well!

This is a very interesting deodorant when i got it, the color kinda scared me but it actually applies to skin clear and it smells lovely!! It's not overpowering like other "manly" deodorant out there. Feels great on the skin but i deducted a star because it has a bit of gritty feeling when you apply it. I guess from the baking soda and charcoal powder, but it does what it's supposed to do and i love it for it.

Not a great product

I received this free sample a week ago and was excited to try it. I do not like it at all and won't be using the rest of it. The first thing that was a turn off was the smell. It smells like old lady and I didn't want to smell like that. I also found that it didn't keep me dry like my regular deodorant. I would put it on in the AM before work and halfway through my day, I would have to go use it again. I wouldn't recommend this product based on the fragrance of the deodorant and that it didn't give all day protection.
