meh..it's gin..

I'm not a big gin fan or expert but apparently this is one of the best in the game so when i attended a gin and tonic night (yes.. you read right), that was my choice of drink for the night. There i tried a mixture of different "Gin + whatever" combinations and to be honest it just wasn't for me. I'm more of fan of sweeter or flavored drinks so i found this to be way to dry for my liking. After a while i got used to the taste but had to suffer the next day with a hangover. However, I will say that this gin brand tasted better than the other drinks i tried.

Great Option for Mixed Drinks!

Though not the best Gin on the market, Tanqueray really stands out in is class for price vs. quality. As a mixer, Tanqueray is a fantastic option that tastes cool, crisp and delicious without breaking the bank. I wouldn't personally have Tanqueray alone without adding a mixer (i.e. sip it on it's own) as I am not overly crazy about the taste and I would much rather splurge on a bottle of Hendricks for that purpose but I would definitely (and have in the past) recommend it to others and always have a bottle in my own home!

An outstanding gin, my go-to.

I have only started drinking gin in the last year or so and Tanquery classic has become one of 2 top choices for me (Hendrick's is the other but it's more expensive and best enjoyed in a cocktail without much other competing flavours) . I haven't tried either of their other gins but I look forward to it. I love the clean taste of it, it's very crisp and not overly junipery like some cheaper gins. It is decently priced, for the quality. I love using it in the prohibition cocktail, The Bees Knees, the honey and lemon compliment it beautifully.
