The Tim Horton's Dark Roast is a step in the right direction with Tim Horton's. I like the flavour better in this roast because of the stronger coffee taste. For non-expensive coffee, it's the better choice.
I never got into Timmys regular roast coffee but since I like bold strong coffee, I had to try the dark roast. This coffee provided a rich , bold taste. It was smooth and did not have the burnt taste like so many coffees from coffee houses do. I now have something to drink when I go to Timmys.
I accidentally bought the dark roast k cups and opened the box...so I had to drink it. To my surprise it wasn't bad at all. I was expecting a bitter coffee but it was still smooth and hit the spot .... Lol.
I would buy it again BUT I prefer the original roast hands down.
I wouldn't say no to a cup that's for sure.
If you haven't tried it...it's worth the try u might enjoy it like I didn't.
I still prefer my original brew but this does taste good. It's hard to describe- on the one hand it doesn't taste like a heavy black coffee- but it's not quite sweet either. It's around the middle. Change up your routine. Give it a try.
Well what do you expect, it's Timmy's , but I was impressed with the dark roast, Tim Hortons does it again, They had me at hello, would you like a coffee.
This coffee is great! I am very particular in my coffee because I drink my coffee black. I think I prefer this coffee to Tim Hortons' original blend. Which is a shame, since if you don't specify, you will end up getting the original blend. Such a good price for a good cup of coffee. I will definitely buy this again.
dark roast is really good compared to the regular. you would think it would be more bitter but it is actually more tasty and a lot more smooth! I have large double double and it works!
I have to admit that sometimes the coffee tastes a little watery .. so when you came out with the dark roast i was pretty happy .. i do enjoy a rich cuppa joe and this did the trick for me.... although now that it is summer i am enjoying the frozen lemonade a little more!
Its about time Tim Hortons came out with a Dark Roast coffee. For a long time I couldn't drink their original roast without getting gut rot. I dont take cream or sugar in my coffee; just milk and I couldn't drink the original roast with just milk without it being bitter and nasty.
The dark roast is so much smoother! I am very happy with the dark roast and recommend it to others all the time.
I flipping LOVE this coffee. It is by far the best thing that Tim Horton's has done in a long time! Big tall back and strong. Even my coffee snob of a spouse will drink dark roast from Time Horton's.
