This shampoo smells really nice and seems to get rid of excess oils and dirt from my hair. In terms of the thickening aspect, more time is needed to see it's effects but I found that this shampoo did improve the consistency of my hair so that's it is more prepared for styling which I do daily. Overall a great shampoo for men and is something I would recommend to another person.
