Smells amazing!

Love that this product is natural. The smell is so unique and really smells amazing. The only reason I rate this a little bit lower is because it doesn’t last as long as I wish it did. It also feels like sandpaper going on.

Natural deodorant with lime scent

I used this product several times now. It has a somewhat strong lime scent which is great for masking odours. The smell does disappear after a few hours so I needed to reapply. I didn’t get a rash like the other reviewers at least. It’s a bit hard to apply as it’s thick as well.

Loved the Smell, not the Reaction

I try to go natural as much as I can but I I haven’t had luck with natural deodorants in the past. I tried this one and although I really loved
The scent of it, it burned my armpits right away so I could not continue using it :( Possibly if they could figure out a way not to use baking soda it might work better for me and I’d gladly try it again!

Effective but scratchy

I loved the smell of the Bergamot+Lime so much! I was so excited to use it I didn't read the instructions and just put it on like a regular deodorant. This was a mistake. It felt like I was aggressively exfoliating my armpits! Then I read the instructions; you have to hold the stick against your skin to heat it up a bit before applying. So the next day I did this and it helped, it was still not the nice smooth glide that I'm used to from the other natural deodorants that I use but an improvement. I found it did clump up a bit, but maybe I just applied too much. With all natural deodorants that I use I notice the scent doesn't last all day and sometimes it smells a little strange at the end of a long day, not like BO, a neutral but odd scent. With this one, while the DELICIOUS Bergamot+Lime scent doesn't last all day, it does last longer than other natural deodorants and there is no odd smell at the end of the day. Just a slight powdery residue. Overall I'd say this isn't the most pleasant to use due to the scratchiness but definitely the most effective natural deodorant I've used.

3.5 stars but it smells amazing!

Let me tell you how amazing this deodorant smells. If you're a citrus lover you will fall in love with this aroma! 5 stars for the scent. The actual deodorant was just okay. For everyday use, its a good product, however by the 4th day in a row I found my armpits to be getting itchy. It goes on rough - the texture is not a clean glide, which might have accounted for the itch after use. The smell is great, but while it covers any smell from working out, it doesn't quite keep you fresh. I'm going to keep using it, but I'm hesitant to say that it will become my go to.

Works well, Strong Scent

I’ve been using natural deodorant for a year now and usually use Toms or Native, but was glad to give Schmidt’s a try for free. It’s very similar to native but I find the smell very strong and offensive. I put it on after I shower at night and the smells goes away while I sleep and then I’m good all day, while I still sweat it doesn’t smell bad.

Very pasty

I bought Schmidt's Bergamot + Lime Natural Deodorant because I had been using another brand's natural deodorant and I really liked it, but as a smaller company it was not convenient to repurchase.

So I tried Schmidt. The Bergamot + Lime scent is amazingly bright and fresh. This is by far the best feature of the deodorant. That, and it does actually work.

But the feel of it is just gross. The baking soda in the deodorant is unmistakable. It feels like you are applying paste under your arms and it does not apply easily or smoothly. At the end of the day it's also all gunked into the creases. My other natural deodorant, without this level of baking soda, did none of these things.

I am only using this now around the house, no way am I comfortable enough to wear it in public. It won't be re-purchased.
