I've tried this a couple times when they've had the free promotional periods. I'm not a hardcore coffee lover, and didn't really get anything different out of this one. I couldn't really taste much difference from the regular coffee, but I also don't drink them black (I use milk and artificial sweetener). This doesn't come in a decaf version but I was told that it naturally has less caffeine than they're regular coffee so I like that. But not enough to switch to this one. It was a good average cup of coffee, but I don't understand the hoopla.
Prefer the regular coffe than dark roast doesnt taste as good and its less caffeine. Other wise very smooth. Timmys makes other great items besides this.
I love bold flavours, but I was very disappointed with Tim Hortons dark roast. To me it just didn't have enough flavour to it. Maybe it was the way it was made, but to me it tasted watery.
I tried this coffee and it tastes burnt.
Could just be the tim hortons I got it at but i felt like it was the biggest waste of money, I will stick to my original blend for now!
I need my coffee every morning and enjoy a cup of Tim Hortons when I meet a friend for a quick get-to-gether!
I do not like the new Dark Roast... it is way too strong and I drink my coffee black so that is not good!
I have to remember to always get the Regular Blend.
Unless you like really strong coffee I would not recommend the Dark Roast.
TIM HORTON'S DARK ROAST COFFEE;
Nothing special as Tim Horton's wanted it to be made.
Darker color did impress me though.
The flavor still Mcdonalds regular black coffee is better!
Tried the dark roast for the first time the other day not a fan! Love Tim hortons but gonna stick to the original.
Let me start by saying that I love coffee. Live for it.
I enjoy many blends and like to drink dark roasts....except for Tim Horton's Dark Roast.
As a fan of the regular blend I was excited for the new option.
I tried it. 3 times. Once as I normally would drink coffee (double double) Once with half regular coffee, half dark and once with adding flavoured creamer at home.
There is a nasty bitter taste to the dark roast that you can't get rid of. It is really off setting and no matter how hard I tried to mask the taste it just wouldn't go away.
I'd give this a pass and stick with their competition for a dark roast blend.
