Not butter chicken sauce.

This stuff tastes like canned tomato soup. It is bland and flavourless. Indian cooking does not have to be hot but it MUST have complex and beautiful spice flavours which this does not... at all. It is sweet, tomato goop. Avoid at all costs if you actually like Indian food.

Disgusting

I bought this product as it was on sale and I will never purchase it again. There was nothing flavourful about it and it did not come close to resembling a good butter chicken flavour.

Delicious and not too spicy

This sauce is amazing and perfect for the whole family. I love butter chicken, although I don’t love the spice that some recipes have, this sauce is not spicy at all! Making it perfect for anyone who doesn’t like the spice. My husband is also very picky about butter chicken, and he loves this sauce ! It’s all we use!

Definitely NOT the 'real thing'

This is a poor representation of 'authentic' butter chicken sauce, even if you're looking for a 'westernized' version where all you need to do is essentially add chicken. Honestly, you're better off looking up a recipe (and there are many out there) and adjusting it to your own taste. Butter chicken (and many indian dishes) are unique to each family and person who creates them. No two sauces are the same, but there are definitely commonalities. This one is far too 'fake' - Save your $

Easy butter chicken meal

Easy butter chicken for supper for our family of 6 last night. Marinated the chicken thighs for a couple of hours in one jar if sauce and added some Frank's red hot for spice. The flavour is nice but could be more flavorful and they could offer a variety of spice levels.

As far as butter chicken sauces, this is the only one you need. This semi-thick sauce is packed with flavor, not spicy at all and has a sweet tangy taste. I usually use two jars and double the chicken as left overs are must when I make this for dinner. It re-heats perfectly, the same taste as the night before and it also freezes well, again, no change in taste.
The best thing is that for the full flavor, you don't have to let it simmer for 20 odd minutes if you are in a hurry, it tastes just a good when added to the chicken and served immediately. I highly recommend this sauce, it's the only one my family uses.

Great Butter Chicken

I would buy this product again, it has great flavour and easy on the budget. Nice if you want a good and easy meal after working all day. On the table in about 20 minutes.

VH sauce.A Bon gout mais je trouve qu'il coute un peux cher et qui mettre beaucoup trop de sel pas très bon pour la santé mais bon gout, A recommander mais a toute les jours.

VH Sauce.A good taste but I find that it costs a lot and putting too much salt not very good for health but good taste, recommend but has every day.

I love VH! But this butter chicken sauce is my favorite the taste is wonderful not too spicy and actually has a hint of sweet the value is Worth every penny and the quality is fantastic i will definitely buy this again

One of the things that attracted my husband was the fact I'm a fabulous cook. Still to this day has he yet to catch on that my delicious home cooked Butter chicken is made with VH Butter Chicken sauce. It's so good when you let the chicken simmer into it for at least an hour. Great accompanied with Jasmine rice and Naan bread.
